LAST WEEK, SEAN O’Boyle married his wife, Caroline, in Cabra Castle.
His brother, Matt O’Boyle, was best man for the occasion and paid tribute to the newlyweds through the medium of song.
Yes, in lieu of giving the traditional best man speech, O’Boyle pulled out a ukelele and sang a song detailing the couple’s romance. But it wasn’t quite as sugary sweet as it sounds.
In fact, the song contained some perfectly Irish sentiments.
Such as…
They shared a class, mathematics/It’s just as well, ’cause they’re a pair of thicks
And…
He saw her in Supermacs one cold night/And he said, ‘Jaysus, your one’s a bit of an alright’/I’ll give her a go
And who wouldn’t want their wedding day filled with references to Supermacs and thicks?
